Step | Image | Instruction |
---|---|---|
| Start with a rectangular piece of paper. | |
| Make horizontal fold along the shorter edge. | |
| Unfold. | |
| Flip the paper. | |
| Pick up the bottom left corner and make a diagonal fold such that the left edge aligns with the top edge. | |
| Unfold. | |
| Pick up the top left corner and make a diagonal fold similar to the previous step. | |
| Unfold. | |
| Pick up the top left corner and make a diagonal fold such that the top edge aligns with the previous diagonal crease. | |
| Repeat the fold on the bottom left corner. | |
| Pick up the left edge and make a fold using the point of intersection of the last two folds along the central horizontal crease. | |
| Pick up the top left corner and make fold such that the left edge aligns with the central horizontal crease. | |
| Repeat the fold for the bottom left corner. | |
| Fold the left corner to form a triangle pointing to the right. | |
| Unfold. | |
| Following the central horizontal crease, fold the paper in half. | |
| Use the crease we created in a previous step along the left corner to create a squash fold. | |
| Fold the top flap of the squash fold to form a downward facing triangle. | |
| Make a fold such that the triangular face is split equally on both sides. | |
| Pick up the top flap and fold the wing. Make sure the crease the wing creates is parallel to the bottom edge. | |
| Flip the paper. | |
| Fold the other wing. | |
| Open up the wings such that they form a single plane. Make a fold 1cm from the bottom edge to form the vertical stabilizer. | |
| Repeat it on the other side. | |
| Make sure the wings form a single plane and the vertical stabilizers are perpendicular to the wing plane. |
Here is a quick run through of the steps.
